Same-Day Movers in Wilkes-Barre
Same-day movers in Wilkes-Barre exist for the worst moving days: your movers cancelled, the lease ends tonight, the truck is rented and nobody showed. Capital 7 Logistics keeps room in the schedule for exactly this — call or text (570) 550-0997 and, if a crew is open, a 2-worker team can be loading today at the same published rates as any other move.
Capital 7's published moving rates
| First 2 hours — 2 workers included | $200 |
| Each additional hour | $100 |
| Labor only (your truck or container) — 2-hour minimum | $100/hr |
| Box truck concierge | $150 |
| Stairs | $35 / set of steps |
These are the same rates Capital 7 publishes on Facebook Marketplace. Your price is confirmed from your inventory and access details before the crew rolls — no surprises on moving day.
Movers cancelled on you? Do this first
- Call or text (570) 550-0997 now — tell us the address, what's moving, and your deadline. You'll get a straight answer on whether a crew can make it today.
- Keep your truck rental if you have one. With a truck already rented, our labor-only crew at $100/hr is the fastest rescue — no waiting on a truck.
- Pack what's packable. Even one hour of staging boxes by the door can cut an hour off the crew's work.
- Photograph the big items. Text us photos of the largest pieces and the stairs; the crew arrives with the right straps and dollies.
Emergency movers near you, without emergency pricing games
Last-minute demand in Wilkes-Barre is real — on HireAHelper, the area's highest-volume mover is literally named "Last Minute Movers," with 300+ moves booked. Capital 7's own crews already take moment's-notice work through that marketplace. Booking direct gets you the same crew at the published rate card: $200 for the first 2 hours with 2 workers, $100 per additional hour, $35 per set of steps. Urgency doesn't change the price list — it only changes how fast you should call.
Honest note: same-day depends on the day's schedule. If both crews are committed, we'll tell you plainly and give you the earliest next-day slot instead of a vague promise.
Next-day moving help in NEPA
Not quite same-day? Next-day moving help is easier to fit: book online tonight at capital7.aliceaihub.xyz, and the crew confirms your window in the morning. End-of-month weeks fill first — if your lease turns over on the 30th or 31st, the sooner you call, the better the slot.
Questions, answered straight
Can I really get movers the same day in Wilkes-Barre?
Often, yes — it depends on the day's schedule. Call or text (570) 550-0997 with your address, inventory, and deadline. If a 2-worker crew is open, we book you at the standard published rates; if not, we'll tell you straight and offer the earliest next-day window.
My movers cancelled on me — what do I do?
First, secure the truck: if you rented one, keep it. Then call us. A labor-only crew ($100/hr, 2-hour minimum) can load your rental today in most cases. Stage boxes by the door and text photos of the big pieces and stairs so the crew arrives prepared.
Do same-day moves cost extra?
No. Same-day and last-minute moves bill on the same published rate card as scheduled moves: $200 for the first 2 hours with 2 workers, $100 per additional hour, $35 per set of steps, $150 if you need our box truck.
What areas do you cover for emergency moves?
Wilkes-Barre and the surrounding Luzerne County towns — Kingston, Pittston, Nanticoke, Mountain Top, Hazleton, Dallas, and nearby NEPA communities. The closer to Wilkes-Barre, the faster we can get a crew to you.
Can you do a last-minute move-out cleanout too?
Yes — if the place needs to be emptied and broom-clean for a landlord walkthrough, the crew can haul what's left behind in the same visit. See our eviction and vacant-property cleanout page for how that work is priced.
